Buying as a gift?  

Blood alcohol content cannot be raised by a 0.5% ABV beer – meaning you cannot get drunk off 0.5% drinks. There are many foods that contain similar or higher amounts of alcohol – like ripe banana, soy sauce, rye bread and even your burger bun! 

However, it’s always safe to follow yours or the person you’re buying fors interpretation of what is and isn’t acceptable – and if you’re pregnant – it’s always safe to check with your doctor before consumption.
