About The Taproom
Our Taproom was built for the community, it was a reprieve from everyday stress. Now more than ever, we want our venue to offer our customers a small sniff of normality. But to do so we have had to make some changes to reduce risk for you and our team.
We will be running two services out of ‘The Taproom’ – Takeaway for cans, cases and growlers, and Sit-in sessions for drinking on site.
For drinking on-site, we will be running sessions on Friday’s and Saturdays. These will run for 2.5 hours, where you will book a table and order table service. For now, we are not expecting walk-ins.
We’re incredibly excited about running these sessions, as it allows us to safely manage the number of people on-site, we can ensure a proper clean down of all surfaces between sessions and give you the security that we have minimised the risk as much as possible.
Booking in compulsory for these sessions. We will announce the following week’s sessions over on our weekly newsletter first, then release on social media after (click here to sign up).
We will be starting with four sessions a week, Friday 18:00 – 22:00, Saturday 12:00 – 14:30, 15:30 – 18:00 and 19:00 – 21:30.
All seating will be outside, and will have to be booked in advance, through Eventbrite. We feel based on guidance, outdoor seating holds the least risk for both you and our team. You can book a table for 2, 4 or 6 – this table will be yours for the duration of the session.
Each table has a QR code, allowing you to order online and have drinks brought to your table.
Each week we will have a food vendor – this week is Freewheelin Pizza.
community and social inclusion
Community engagement and social inclusion is an important part of what we’re doing. We’re a fully wheelchair accessible site, with all tables accessible, as well as an accessible bar and loo. We’ll regularly hosting a range of community events that promote inclusion and accessibility.
We will be showcasing up to 50% Gipsy Hill beer and 50% Guest beer on tap as well as an extensive selection in our bottle fridges. Sourcing the best beer we can from across the world, with carefully selected spirits, bar snacks and street-food vendors to match.
Join us at the Taproom, drink it and talk to people.
