Stone Lifter

£3.25

Description

This is a single can of Stone Lifter. Stone Lifter is a collaboration with Basqueland.

Stone Lifting is a traditional sport played on the Playa de la Concha in San Sebastian. This beer is a NEPA brewed with a high-ester yeast combination of London Fog and Windsor.

It was then hopped with Vic Secret, Simcoe and Mosaic to bulk out its fruitiness.

Goes well with deft lifts and old stones.

Featuring Kevin, Head Chef at Basqueland Brew.

Style – NEPA

Collab – We brewed this in collaboration Basqueland – featuring Kevin.

Concept –  We wanted to find something grounded in Basqueland culture – We found ‘Harri-jasotzaileak’ the sport of lifting stones. Its known as the “oldest sport, with the shortest history”. With ‘Harri-jasotzaileak’ being quite wordy, we went for the simpler “stone lifter”. The landscape is set in the heart of San Sebastian, in front of the Town hall.
