On Saturday 30th March, Gipsy Hill Taproom will be ONE WHOLE YEAR OLD!
We welcome everyone who has supported and hung out with us over the last year to come and celebrate with us in true Gipsy style!
For this wonderful celebration, we have some treats in store for you!
From noon, our legendary taproom general manager, Phil, will be leading tours around our onsite brewery showing you all the wonders of how our beer is made, ending with a beer tasting that will inform and satisfy.
Tours will be an hour long (including tastings) and will run every hour from noon until 4pm (last tour starting at 4pm).
There will be food: Freewheelin’ Pizza!
Freewheelin’ believe that good food needs to be well sourced. Local, seasonable produce is fresher, tastier and far better for the environment, even growing their own where possible! Their meat and dairy comes from UK producers that have animal welfare as a priority and the logs come from well-managed, sustainable woodlands. Good ethos, makes good pizza
There will be music: The Thumping Tommys
The Thumping Tommys are a collection of talented musicians specialising in old-time music. Having played at many great festival stages, bars and cafes, The Thumping Tommys play a heady brew of Irish and American folk music performed with a distinctly English style, which has established them as one of the most entertaining groups working in the UK right now.
There will be more music: King Casual
King Casual’s chilled, funked up alt-folk dips into reggae and soul before resurfacing nonchalantly, casually with is own bouncy groove. The musicianship is clear to hear. King Casual make music that sounds like Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. It’s a cheeky, wacky, punchy groovefest for fans of RHCP, Vulfpeck, Kaiser Chiefs and Bob Marley.
Throughout the day there will also be games and activities, with music playing you into the night of our Gipsy celebration!
Not one to miss!
See you there!
